1968 was a turning point in American history. Countless activists were at the forefront of fighting for the rights of migrant farmworkers and East L.A. students¸ with two in particular standing out: Dolores Huerta and Sal Castro. Originally created for classrooms¸ ¡Huelga! highlights Latiné historical figures who revolutionized the American farmworker and these stories are now available for all. Critically acclaimed graphic novel historian Henry Barajas (La Voz De M.A.Y.O. Tata Rambo) teams with Louie Chin (Fighting to Belong!) and Gab Contreras (The Deadliest Bouquet) to illuminate the vital stories of West Coast activists making good trouble.
