Meanwhile, Kabane and his friends finish their training with Fukuhime while on route to Yashima, where they see that Kaede and Akagi have joined together to become a giant fire fox. Wanting to repay the Yashima tanuki for all their help, including trusting him with their treasure, Kabane meets up with Kon, and together they head to battle.
